Key benefits for NHS organisations
“Budget Master is a very straightforward system to use. It is clear that Budget Master was designed by people who understand NHS finance.”
Amit Patel, Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Budget Master’s built-in formulas ensure only high quality data is used for budget setting. As the formulas used for calculations are set in the system there is no risk of user defined calculations skewing budget figures. With Budget Master’s built-in rules pay allowances and enhancements are correctly calculated, for example, consultants’ clinical excellence awards.
The system has been developed by finance professionals with many years NHS experience and budgeting expertise and is used by a range of acute, mental health, community and specialist providers.
Budget Master is a true multi-user system where users work simultaneously on one set of data – “a single version of the truth.” Budget Master provides control over budget elements, the level of information used and the reports produced.
Comprehensive built-in reporting suite enables budgets to be presented on a number of different summary levels. With user definable criteria you can easily select the information required for your reports. Reports can be exported into Word or Excel for use in finance reports such as the budget book.
Comprehensive modelling facility allows multiple what-if scenarios to be costed such as pay scales and allowances. For example, how much will it cost to give all Band 5 nurses a 2% pay award.
